The Future of St. Bernard’s

Principal’s Message

Strategic Priorities

For the past 100 years, St. Bernard’s High School has amplified the mission of The Sisters of the Presentation by sharing the light of faith with generations of young men and women. Alumni continue this mission as servant leaders in their chosen professions and callings locally and around the world.

In 2019, due to changes in the strategic priorities of the Catholic Church, the Diocese of Worcester agreed to give a committed group of alumni, parents, and community members the opportunity to independently operate St. Bernard’s High School as a private Catholic school. This provided an exciting opportunity to revitalize the School and launch a new St. Bernard’s with a renewed commitment to providing a first-rate, Christ-centered, college-preparatory education.

On July 1, 2020, operational control of the School successfully transitioned to an independent Board of Trustees. Members of the Board, alumni and community leaders continue to volunteer their time and lend their expertise to ensure St. Bernard’s meets the needs of our community for the next 100 years.
